Broomley Free Play Consent Form

We are now pleased to be able to offer confirmed places on our FREE PLAY SESSIONS at Broomley Grange.

What does this session look like? We have access to the wonderful Broomley Grange, children will get the opportunity to take part in semi structured and unstructured play. There might be game of rounders and hide and seek but then they may wish to go off and play their own games. In time we are hoping to add cooking and growing our own food.

When: Saturdays 2-4pm, First Session Saturday 14th June then weekly.

Where: Broomley Grange, Stocksfield. NE43 7RX

Ages: Due to the nature of the activities we would recommend ages 7+ if your child is younger than that you are welcome to stay with them. Grown ups are welcome to just drop off or you are welcome to stay and join in.

What to wear/bring: The children are likely to get dirty so older clothes, appropriate footwear (their feet might get wet) ensure the clothing is appropriate to the weather.

Cost: We will be running an honesty box with a suggested £3 contribution this helps us cover the costs of venue and staff.

We will be running a small tuck shop where they can buy drinks and some snacks, water is available.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Please note that whilst Active Future trained and qualified staff will be on site there are times when your children will be playing unsupervised. They will get access to the whole grounds and there will be opportunities for them to try lots of different things from den making to tree climbing. There will be times they will undertake some risky play. By allowing your children to attend you accept there are some risks in them taking part in activities.

Please could we ask you to fill out the following form to consent to your children taking part in the sessions. Once we have received this form it will secure your place. If you have multiple children please add them to the same form. Unfortunately we are unable to accept children on site without a consent form. This form does not commit you to anything it just provides us with information we need for our own safeguarding.
