Active Future are the organisation of choice when requiring delivery partners for your sports or activity project.

Having already worked with numerous organisations from schools to local government and charities to NHS we have the expertise to help plan and deliver your project. We can support you from initial idea through planning to delivery and planning. Below are some of the projects we have been involved in.’

Short Breaks

Working within the community to Provide short breaks to disabled children and young people who can spend time with friends, experience fun and engaging activities and develop new skills and independence. We are now experienced in providing these programmes across numerous locations.

Active Travel

In partnership Active Oxfordshire we have devised a programme to engage more families in active travel to and from a number of after school bike clubs. Including bike maintenance and bike safety many more families will be persuaded out of their cars into more active modes of transport.

HAF Provision

Holidays can be a real pressure point for families and this is particularly felt among low income families. Active Future are highly experienced in designing and implementing HAF Programmes for Local Authorities across the country having been extensively involved since inception.

 

Other Projects

  • Dementia Project

    Working with NHS and Mind we helped design and implement a project to provide reminiscence theory to full stage dementia patients. Using children to enhance the project for the patients it was a success and the results have been published.

  • EYFS Motor Skills

    In partnership with a school sports partnership Active Future planned a 12 month scheme to provide a sports delivery project to increase motor skill proficiency with EYFS. The long term aim was to improve handwriting with a select group of children.
