Broomley Adventure Day School Offer

Using the outstanding setting of Broomley Grange, we offer schools an exceptional opportunity to develop children and young people’s resilience, leadership and teamwork within a safe and secure environment, set in the heart of the Northumberland countryside.

Adventure days at Broomley Grange:

Adventure days at Broomley Grange is a one-day outdoor learning experience designed specifically for primary schools.

This non-residential programme delivers the excitement, challenge and personal growth of an Outward Bound–style adventure, while remaining easy to organise, cost-effective and reassuring for both schools and families.

Throughout the day, pupils take part in a range of carefully structured outdoor activities, which may include water slides, assault courses, climbing challenges, den building and practical cooking experiences. These activities are designed to help pupils:

  • Build confidence, resilience and self-belief

  • Work collaboratively and communicate effectively

  • Step outside their comfort zones in a safe, supportive environment

  • Develop independence, problem-solving skills and perseverance

By removing the need for an overnight stay, schools can offer pupils a meaningful and memorable adventure that supports learning, wellbeing and personal development — all within the school day.

The programme is led by experienced instructors and supported by robust risk management and safeguarding procedures. It is suitable for Years 3–6 and is fully inclusive of all abilities, ensuring every child can take part, achieve and succeed.

Extra Sessions:

We can also bring in extra local 3rd Party Providers to support learning across the course for example, first aid, forest schools, specialist sports, circus skills, bike maintenance and many more.
