WHAT IS FOOTBALL FREE PLAY?
Active Future has been established to increase the likelihood of lifelong participation in movement. What we know is that by aged 16, 80% of children and young people have left movement and sport never to return again and we want to change this statistic and get more people playing.
Free play looks back a generation when kids could be kids and play freely without the fear of failure and to play without the constant interruption from adults. Football Free Play goes back to the time of kids playing in the streets and making up their own rules all overseen by qualified adults to ensure the environment is safe. Kids will pick their own teams and they will just play for the time they are there. No drills no coaching just the opportunity to play the game they love.
